In my more than 12 years of experience in higher education advising and enrollment management, I have helped to shape many lives and many individuals have impressed upon me. I believe that the juncture at which an individual makes the decision to attend college is one of the single most important decisions they will make in their lifetime. It's not only a journey; it is one's first opportunity to step into an unknown world and experience with the mindset that greater things are on the horizon. Having the right fit is extremely important and making sure it aligns with your budget is necessary. One must be willing to sacrifice a little for the greater return on investment (ROI). Ensuring that the value exceeds your expectation is of utmost importance. Nonetheless, a little window shopping is worth considering. Neglecting to explore all options could lead to missing the perfect opportunity. In the grand scheme of things when one finds a value that fits they are willing to sacrifice to ensure that value doesn't slip away. I understand that perfect opportunities are few and far between, so my job is to ensure that the opportunity sticks for each student and family.  

 

My philosophy is that the distance traveled is never as important as the education. Hence, there is no reason to regret being afraid to go the distance for the best, to be with the best, to be a part of the best, to take full advantage of the best and to become the best of the best.

ON THE FLIP SIDE -- I have been fortunate to have a hand in shaping a number of exceptional leaders and forging long-standing relationships with many prominent universities in the United States and the Caribbean. My expertise includes developing, managing and streamlining enrollment management processes that produce aggressive results. With cutting edge approaches and strategies, I have been able to identify market trends, develop market areas, and significantly increase applications and enrollment. Through innovative strategic planning and decision-making, implementation and assessment I have successfully diversified applicant pools geographically and demographically. My 19 years of travel to nearly all 50 states, the Bahamas, Ghana, Jamaica, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico and United Arab Emirates have given me unmatched experience and a colorful perspective on culture, language, humanity, values and life. My approach, care and adaptive nature have gifted me the opportunity to successfully recruit, advise and mentor students and their families from the US, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe and South America.
